Healing Granuloma Annulare

For years I had this red spot on my face. I really didn’t know what it was, and left it alone because it really didn’t bother me. So one day my wife asks me to get it checked out to be sure it’s not cancer. I’m thinking I know this is not cancer. Why waste the time and the money to have this checked out? Realizing that this would bring my wife peace of mind I made an appointment with a dermatologist to have it checked out.
As I arrived in the office of the dermatologist I’m thinking she’s going to look at this prescribe me some ointment or cortisone cream and send me home. At last the assistant to the doctor called my name and I headed to your typical room for patient doctor consultation. As soon as the doctor arrived in the room and the intial small talk was out of the way she took a look at the spot. She looked puzzled so I asked her “what do you think it is?” Her response shook me. “I don’t know I think we need to do a biopsy to be sure!” ”You’ve got to be kidding me this was supposed to be simple.” I thought as I said ”let’s go ahead and do it.”
Five or six days later I got the results of the biopsy. “ Rick you have a skin disease called Granuloma Annulare.” “What in the world is that.” “It’s a non cancerous skin disease that the doctor would like to treat with Clobetasol, I’ll call the prescription in to your Pharmacy.” I thank God I have insurance because by itself this stuff sells for $65.00.
So I get my prescription and of course I read the side effects before beginning the treatment regimen. After a few weeks of using this stuff, my face is beginning to break out in these bumps all around the initial Granuloma Annulare red spot. So I decided to make another appoinment and go back to the dermatologist. “Well Rick it looks to me like the Granuloma Annulare is spreading, and I think that we need to do some blood work.” “I had blood work done a few weeks ago when I had a physical can’t we just check with my doctor and use the blood work that was done at that time.” It was at this moment that I realized that this doctor did not have a clue on how to cure this disease. Remember I read the prescription side effects and one of the side effects happens to be skin irritation. My skin really started to get irritated after I began using this steroid cream. ”Can you write down the name of this disease? I’ll research this on my own.” The doctor knew that I didn’t believe that the disease was spreading, although she did her best to convince me. I payed my copay and left never to return again.
I’m a believer in God and His Word so the first thing I did when I got home was to pray to God for a solution. Next I went online looking for natural cures to this disease. One of the cures mentioned by an individual caught my attention. They got rid of Granuloma Annulare by drinking apple cider vinegar every day. It was then that it clicked in my brain what I could do for myself. I remembered that apple cider vinegar kicks poison ivy’s butt out the door. When you put vinegar on poison ivy the itch goes away instantly and the poison ivy disappears fairly quickly. So I bought some Bragg organic apple cider vinegar and began putting it on my face each morning and night for 20 minutes to an hour. I’d take a ball of cotton pour vinegar on it, and hold it on the disease spot on my face. Sure enough I could feel the spot stinging and noticed after a couple days that when it was time to stop there was puss oozing out of the Granuloma Annulare. After about a week of steadily doing this twice a day my face had scabs where all the Granuloma Annulare bumps were. People were concerned about me when they saw me, but I just told them I’m getting rid of Granuloma Annulare.
I decided that it would be a good idea to assist in the healing process, so I started putting aloe on the scabs. I went to our local Plant Nursery and bought an aloe plant. It costs between seven and ten dollars, and is a lot cheaper than what the lousy Clobetasol prescription would have cost an uninsured person. When I bought the plant I learned that a simple way of applying the aloe to the spot that needs healing is to cut a small sprig, and squeeze it until the juice oozes out. Wipe the aloe juice on the spot that needs healing and allow it to dry. After using the sprig I put it in a sandwich bag, and store it in the refrigerator until it is time for my next application. What was once an ugly aberration on my face is now barely visible and will eventually totally disappear as I continue putting aloe on it. God is good to me, He heals me when I believe His Word. I’m thankful for a solution to a disease that the doctor didn’t have a clue how to cure. God is Great.

I have tried everything and I also am a believer in god and prayed in faith for my skin, I have the spots all over my hands, elbows, tops of feet,ankles,and knees. It’s very embarrasing to say the least and have been holding out on getting a job with the public since I would need to use my hands alot. So I tried this method I bought the Braggs Apple Cide Vinegar from my local Vitamin Shoppe it was around six dollars. Now this is going to sound crazy but it worked for me as I was very desperte I soaked a cotton ball in the vinegar flattened it out and placed it on the more obvious ones which is my hands and used tape to keep it in place. I left it on for a few hours and at times overnight and I am sooooo excited they started to peel! and they are becoming less and less visible! I am so excited PRAISE GOD! and thanks heavens for Apple Cider Vinegar! I am also goin going to use aloe as well since it is scabbing. I can’t stop looking at my hands and see how miraculous this was after years of living with this and it just seems to be spreading, no creams helped. Thank You so very much for your story and advice! I have a question. As you mentioned about drinking the raw apple cider vingear, how much should I consume it? Just drink or add something like honey? I have Granuloma Annulare on several of my fingers.
I would add it to 8 ounces of water. I do not put honey in mine, but I know people who do. Bragg apple cider recommends 1 to 2 tsps in 8 ounces of water. If you would like to add honey they suggest the same measurement 1 to 2 tsps. Their bottle says perfect taken 3 times a day. You may want to try what I did, pick a finger and put some vinegar on some cotton and hold it on a granuloma annulare spot for twenty minutes to an hour each night. The granuloma will scab eventually. If you decide to do this get an aloe plant at your local nursery. Keep putting aloe the spot after it scabs until it goes away. If you’re christian find a verse like Mark 11:23-24, 1 Peter 2:24 or 3 John 2 and confess your chosen verse until it comes to pass. Prayer works!!
I am heading to the store tomorrow to get some Apple Cider Vinegar… I have been dealing with this for about 3 years now for the first two years it was just one spot on one finger (and THAT was bad) and in the last year it has started spreading all over both my hands and now up my forearms. This is going NOTHING for my self esteem.

Thank you for sharing your success with ACV. Our 5 year old daughter developed GA a year ago, and steroid shots were not a long term solution. We apply a cotton ball soaked in ACV to a GA spot whenever they pop up, hold it in place with medical tape and leave it there over night for about 3-4 nights. Scabs form and the GA goes away. So thankful for this natural solution. I haven’t yet made her drink the ACV but want to see what that would do. We have spent the past year pursuing every possible cause of GA and our daughter has come up with an otherwise clean bill of health. Thankful for that of course but frustrating not to have a “cause”. Anyway, just writing to say thanks for sharing your ACV success!

Thanks for your message, I’m believing your daughter gets totally healed. There’s No telling where it comes from.. My best guess it is related to diet or allergens. Those two things could be a cause even with a doctors clean bill of health. Have a great day and I’ll be praying for your daughter.
I, too, wonder what made my 5 year old develop it. We moved to Dallas several months before it developed, so maybe it’s in the air. His diet didn’t change, so I don’t know. I really wish I knew what it was.
I have been taking 1 oz of ACV in water with a little sweetener for 2 months now, and my granuloma is finally starting to fade and flake off. It takes patience-this is not an overnight remedy, but anything that will take care of this awful disfiguring disease is worth waiting for.

I am in tears right now reading this. I’ve battled this for almost 15 years, (I’m 29). I’m a firm believe in God and His word and have been praying and researching and praying and researching a cure to this horrible disease. I can’t wait to go get this apple cider vinegar and try this remedy. Just left the state fair and purchased dead sea salts for the fungus, they said it would work. I will try anything at this point. Actually we used the sea salts for other skin issues that my son had (not granuloma annulare), but eventually took him to a natural skin care healer. I honestly believe granuloma annulare could be diet related to an extent. Keeping our bodies alkaline I believe has to be important. I still drink two tablespoons of vinegar in 6-8 ounces of water most every day. I love how all the credit goes to God, but he did an internet search and went to the Doctor. The internet is a product of science, Religion seeks to destroy and undermine Science in the classroom with religious non-sense, you don’t have an internet to do a google search on without the scientific method, nor will you have your cake and eat it too.
But believing in God is just fine, but give credit to the hard work and intense thinking minds that had to battle religion kicking and screaming into the modern age, out the witch burnings of ignorance, the crusades and inquisitions and putting Galieleo in Jail for see that in fact the Earth was not the center of the Universe, but man articles like this are agonizing!
Actually religion does not seek to destroy science. Where science agrees with the Word of God then it is accurate, where it contradicts the Word of God it is inaccurate. I’m talking about the Word of God here sir, not religious fanatics. This article has helped quite a few people. If it is agonizing for you I’m sorry. It wasn’t written for the unbeliever it was written for people who want to believe God for results. If you don’t want to believe in God that is your choice.
Thank you so much for posting this. My 5 year old has it on his foot and on his legs. The ones on his legs are spreading and it’s bothering me as we head into “shorts weather”. I have tried EVERYTHING even the vinegar, but I wasn’t leaving it on. I was just dabbing it. I will go buy more tonight and start the 20 minutes a night after his baths when his pores are open. Please pray for his healing. I will be praying too.
